How can we help?

What do I need to know

I've Had A Look & Would Like A Quote, How Do I Go About This?

The easiest and quickest way is to email us with rough sizes, the style you like and whether you need posts. A few pictures of your entrance is always useful as it enables us to provide you with a rough quotation.

Do You Come Out & Measure Up?

Yes we do come out and measure, we need to survey the site before work commences. This is after you've ordered your gates. Before this point we find that 95% of communications are best done via email and over the phone. However, if you would like us to come out before this point to discuss your gates, measure and survey your site, we can do but we make a charge for this. The charge is however deducted from the price of your gates when an order is placed.

Do You Have A Showroom?

No we don't have a showroom as all our work is bespoke and tailor made for the client, but we do have a workshop which you're welcome to visit. However we do ask that you book an appointment to ensure that someone will be there to answer any questions you have.

I've Had A Quote & Would Like To Place An Order

When you're happy with your quote and would like to order, we require a 20% deposit. At this point we put you in our diary and give you a guide time for installation. A few weeks before we start on your gates we will visit your property and carry out a thorough site survey.

Solid Wood or Steel Framed - Pros' & Cons'

Some people say steel framed is better, there are a few instances where this is true, but for 90% of gates it purely a style choice.

How Do You Finish Your Gates?

We can apply UV protective stains (Extra Cost) or can supply your gate bare or with preservative depending upon your requirements and type of timber.

We Would Like A Gate But Have Been Told We Can't Have One Because .......

Absolutely everything we do is bespoke. We pride ourselves on our engineering and problem solving skills, whether the answer is electric, sliding, bio-fold, steel framed gates or customised hinges, there is always an answer and solution to your problem.

We Would Like A Design That You Don't Have

Whether its incorporating a detail copied from your property, a carving, an unusual shape or you have a particular size in mind, we are always happy to accommodate, as we love these requests.

How Are Your Gates Constructed?

With the exception of brace and rail gates our wooden gates are full framed planed finished with stainless pins, all mortice and tenons are through and wedged.

Extras, Upgrades & Finishing Touches

We offer a huge range of extras, we find the only boundary is your imagination.

Here are a few of the many that are available, just ask:
